It proved to be another miserable night for Mick McCarthy’s Cardiff City yesterday evening, as they suffered a 4-0 home defeat at the Cardiff City Stadium to promotion-chasers West Bromwich Albion.

The Bluebirds had already come into this tie off the back of a 5-1 hammering away at Blackburn Rovers at the weekend and already looking brittle after losing three consecutive league games prior to their clash with Valerien Ismael’s side.
