Huddersfield Town are weighing up a move for Ravel Morrison on a free transfer, according to Alan Nixon.

Morrison has been without a club since the start of January, leaving ADO Den Haag having played only five times for the Dutch side.

The 28-year-old was at Sheffield United last season, making only four appearances for the Blades before departing Bramall Lane.

Now a free agent, it is claimed by Nixon that Huddersfield are set to have a look at Morrison in training, monitor his fitness levels before potentially offering him a deal.

Town have been hampered with injuries to key players this season, with creative players Carel Eiting and Josh Koroma both spending time on the sidelines.

A move for Morrison makes sense on paper, given that he wouldn’t demand a transfer fee and the ball is very much in Huddersfield’s court.
