Ipswich Town suffered yet another defeat on Wednesday evening sending them hurtling back to the bottom of the table.
The defeat followed a 3-0 loss to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday and has now cost Paul Hurst his job at Portman Road, with the club announcing his departure this evening.
The Whites took the lead in the 22nd minute when Pablo Hernandez’s cross was met by the head of Kemar Roofe, who directed the ball into the back of the net.
The Tractor Boys’ reaction was a weak one and they hardly troubled the Leeds defence all night as Marcelo Bielsa’s side continued to pile forward.
Centre-back Liam Cooper made it 2-0 just after the hour mark, and Hurst’s side can count themselves lucky they did not lose by more, with a host of chances going begging for the home side.

When the Tractor Boys shared the highlights on Twitter after the game it showed just how much they were struggling.

The state of that second goal, embarrassing. Nice of them to let us have a shot at the end

Our own highlights reel and there is only 1 pass from an Ipswich player, and even that was a hospital ball ????
