Pablo Hernandez and Leeds United are currently gearing up for Saturday’s trip to Bristol City, with the Whites looking to build on an impressive win over West Bromwich Albion last time out.

Leeds dismantled West Brom last Friday evening, leaving Marcelo Bielsa’s side with over a week to prepare for this Saturday’s trip to the South West, where Bristol City await.

The players are going through their usual recovery, with Hernandez amongst those to share an update of himself on Instagram in an ice bath:

It’s clearly a method that Leeds’ players all use on the same day, with Tyler Roberts also sharing an update of himself in an ice bath along with teammates, Jack Harrison and Kalvin Phillips.

All four players featured in the win over West Brom last Friday, with Hernandez and Roberts at the heart of the action.

Hernandez opened the scoring after just 17 seconds with a thunderous strike from outside the area, before Roberts began to pull the strings from central midfield.

The 20-year-old twice set up Patrick Bamford, who struck Leeds’ second and third goals, before Ezgjan Alioski rounded off the win.

The Verdict

We regularly see players in ice baths as they look to recover in times for games, with Leeds’ process not different to anybody else.

Bielsa’s side have had over a week to prepare for Saturday’s fixture so they should all be fresh heading to Bristol.

However, after that Leeds travel to Reading and then face Sheffield United within the space of a week, which is a period where their recovery will have to be spot on.
