There's more League One action on the way this weekend with the likes of Sunderland heading to Oxford United.

The Black Cats will be looking to keep pace with those above them and with games in hand, February looks a big month for them.

So, ahead of their game with the U's, we spoke to Gary McLaughlin of We Are Wearside to get his take on things in the north-east...

1. Lewis Morgan made his debut last weekend - can you see him starting again this time around?

Yes, he was really impressive, probably the stand out performer against Wimbledon. He was also a big part of Jack Ross' St Mirren side, the manager obviously likes him, so I think he will start more games than he doesn't from now until the end of the season.

2. Kazaiah Sterling seems pleased to be at the club - what are early fan impressions of him like?

The jury is still out I think, he hasn't played much senior football at all but looked mobile enough as a substitute this weekend. It was a really strange signing that I think was a bit of a panic deal with Sunderland struggling to sign strikers on deadline day. He's saying the right things, hopefully the lad comes good and we can give him the springboard he needs for his career.

3. Sunderland head to Oxford this weekend, should they have enough to outclass them?

Portsmouth are stumbling right now and we've got to take advantage of that. I think we're playing four games in 10 days so it's going to be a brutal mid-February, but we should look at it as an opportunity to get some points on the board quickly.

Oxford aren't having a great season overall, but they've picked up some great results at home recently - including beating Portsmouth. I don't think it will be a walkover but at the same time if you're pushing for automatic promotion you need to be beating the teams towards the bottom of the table.

4. Suddenly, the Black Cats have a few attacking options with Will Grigg pushing to feature this weekend - who would you start up top?

If you have someone who can score loads of goals at this level you've got to play them. Charlie Wyke hasn't found his feet yet, unfortunately, and it won't help him much to be dropped now, but Will Grigg has to start. Whether Ross fancies two up top remains to be seen, he's more of a one-up-front sort of manager.

5. Score prediction
