Swansea City chairman Trevor Birch has insisted that there won't be a change of ownership at the club 'any time soon'.

Swansea fans gathered last night to participate in a fan forum, where the likes of Trevor Birch and other members of the football club were able to answer any of their questions.

The issue of ownership came up. Birch was installed as the club's new chairman in March 2019, replacing the long-serving Huw Jenkins.

Birch was named as chairman by the American duo, and majority shareholders, Steve Kaplan and Jason Levien - the pair have received a lot of criticism from Swansea fans for their lack of investment in the club after they were relegated from the Premier League in 2018.

But Birch has ensured fans that there's no sign of anyone looking to takeover the club, and that Kaplan and Levien have 'no interference' with how Birch is running the club.
