Sheffield Wednesday have been quoted a price of £2m for Watford left back Daniel Pudil, according to the Sheffield Star.

Reports suggest in the Sheffield newspaper that the Hornets are willing to part ways with Pudil, but only at a valuation what meets their requirements, with £2m the apparent figure quoted.

Pudil spent last season on loan at Hillsborough, and impressed with his all action displays at left back, where he was solid defensively and provided a constant attacking outlet for the Owls.

Carlos Carvalhal clearly sees Pudil as someone who can improve his squad, and will be keen to add him to his options at Hillsborough on a permanent basis. However, the £2m fee may well put the Owls off the defender, who turns 31 this year and will surely only have a few years left at the top level.

Pudil is currently out in France for the European Championships with the Czech Republic, where if he impresses, his value may well rocket again.

Wednesday got to the play off final last season, only for Mo Diame to score the winner for Hull and consign the Owls to another season in the Championship.

Owls fans, what do you think? Do you want Pudil back? Who else could you get if you don't sign him? Let us know in the comments!!!
