The crisis at Sheffield Wednesday lumbers on this week, with a tough fan forum resulting in owner Dejphon Chansiri putting the club up for sale.

He's seemingly had enough of the anger and hate around Hillsborough, some directed at him but most pointing in the direction of Jos Luhukay. There is a caveat though, instead of the £30m he paid for the club three years ago, he's demanding £200m, according to the Mirror (December 21, Page 64).

The club are thought to be losing £20m a year and are on a collision course with League One, but the owner clearly wants some return on his investment, even if his tenure has not been successful. Either that, or he has little intention of selling and is putting a silly price on them so nobody comes in.

Either way, it doesn't look as though the issues around Hillsborough are going away any time soon.

Despite that, our FLW experts are hopeful of a brighter future, eventually...

It’s about time he looks to sell up.

The mood around Hillsborough is absolutely toxic and cannot benefit Wednesday in their hopes of turning their season around.

As for the price-tag, it’s a huge club with massive potential. Someone is bound to be keen.

He's clearly wasting no time.

The owner evidently wants the club sold as quickly as possible, which will be pleasing to see for Sheffield Wednesday supporters.

It's been a hostile atmosphere at the club in recent weeks, and his reluctance to sack Jos Luhukay seems to just be adding fuel to the fire.

Saying you want to sell up is one thing, but £200m? Seriously?

His is overvaluing his asset, the club, and not by a small amount.

It's like buying a car for £300, bashing it about a bit and now demanding £2000 for it. Madness.

How he can justify such a price-tag is beyond me.
