Derby County will be looking to get themselves some big-name arrivals this summer after Frank Lampard joined the club as manager.

The Rams were left in the lurch by Gary Rowett after he moved to Stoke and fans might have been forgiven about having some worries for 2018/19.

Indeed, when you consider that they might have to rein in the spending this window after years gone by, things perhaps looked rather bleak - but then Lampard arrived.

With him, then, comes an expectation that some marquee names and exciting young talents are going to join the club - and the former brings us to this man:

Derby will still need to be careful with their spending this summer, but John Terry is available on a free and all they'd need to sort is his contract details.

If he's willing to take a pay-cut, Derby should be looking to seal it as, as last season showed, he's still got the class to deal with football at this level.

Under Lampard, Derby would surely have the leadership qualities they need to challenge again for the top six next season.

As their new boss has said, not a lot needs tweaking and adding Terry would be a solid start.
