Cardiff City continued their promotion challenge last night as they recorded a straightforward 2-0 win over Bolton Wanderers in the Championship.

The men from South Wales remain one of the surprise packages of the season with them being at the sharp end for the whole of the campaign.

For sure, under Neil Warnock's guidance they'll be confident that they can get into the Premier League for next season, too, especially with our latest FLW Spotlight subject leading the charge - Junior Hoilett:

At the start of this season much was being made of Cardiff's other attacking options but it is Hoilett who has surpassed them all with him being the Bluebirds' top scorer this season.

Ten goals and seven assists sees him level with the likes of Albert Adomah and Ivan Cavaleiro in terms of goals contributed too this season and when you consider the plaudits they've got, it seems Hoilett has been underappreciated.

Of course, Cardiff fans are all too aware of what he's about but perhaps with these numbers in mind the rest of the league will start taking note of what he is capable of.

His pass success might not be the best but he's not there for that, he's in the side to get at defences and cause havoc and with him making multiple dribbles and shots a game, that is certainly what he is doing.

Cardiff and Hoilett still appear to be going under the radar even now, and Bluebirds fans will hope that continues if it keeps producing this kind of individual return.
