QPR made it four wins from their last five league matches on Saturday, as they ran out narrow 1-0 winners over play-off chasing Blackburn Rovers.

Defender Yoann Barbet scored the only goal of the game, as the Hoops followed up their 2-1 win over Watford in midweek with an important three points against the Lancashire-based side at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Their results have certainly shown improvement, and Mark Warburton will be hoping to see his side build on this strong run of form in the second-half of this year's campaign.

QPR are currently sat 16th in the Championship table, and will be hoping they can push for a top-half finish this term.

One player that has certainly made a positive impact since signing for the club is Charlie Austin, who played 74 minutes in the win over Blackburn, before being replaced by Macauley Bonne in the closing stages of the game.

Austin took to Twitter on Saturday evening to label the win as a 'massive three points' for his side, which is a statement that plenty of QPR supporters are likely to agree with.

A number of fans took to social media to issue their thoughts on Austin's performance in the win over Tony Mowbray's side.
