Barnsley's impressive run of form continued on Wednesday evening as they earned a crucial three points with a 1-0 win over Hull City at the KCOM Stadium.

Cauley Woodrow scored the only goal of the game as he poked home from close-range to spark jubilant scenes from the travelling Tykes supporters.

The goal was Woodrow's 15th of the season, and he'll be hoping he can continue to play his part in Barnsley's survival bid in the Championship this term.

Gerhard Struber's side are currently sat 23rd in the second-tier standings, but are now just three points adrift of safety with 11 games remaining in this year's league campaign.

Woodrow took to Twitter following the win over the Tigers, and praised his team-mates and the club's fans for their support on the night.

Plenty of Barnsley supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on Woodrow's performance against Grant McCann's side on Wednesday night.
