Plenty of Leeds United fans took to social media to react Ezgjan Alioski’s strike against Huddersfield Town this afternoon.

The Whites moved to the top of the Championship table and extended their winning run to six matches with a hard-fought 2-0 victory at the John Smith’s Stadium – thanks to second-half goals from Alioski and Pablo Hernandez.

Alioski opened the scoring for Leeds five minutes after half-time with his third goal of the season – a brilliant volley from the best part of 20 yards.

After Huddersfield only half-cleared a corner, the ball looped out to Alioski on the edge of the box and the 27-year-old showed perfect technique to fire past Kamil Grabara into the bottom corner.

With twelve minutes to go, Hernandez won the game for Leeds with his third goal of the season, finishing of a brilliant team move with a header at the far post from Jack Harrison’s cross.

Leeds fans were in no doubt over who scored the goal of the game, though, with many Whites supporters taking to social media to react to Alioski’s strike.
