Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Southampton's Sam McQueen, with the 23-year-old joining Boro on loan for the rest of the season.

Tony Pulis has been desperate to strengthen his squad this summer, but has struggled, with the Teesside outfit missing out on several key targets.

However, they have finalised a deal for McQueen, who will provide competition down the left side for Boro, as he is capable of playing as a full-back or further up the pitch if needed.

He has found game time hard to come by at St. Mary's with Ryan Bertrand and Matt Targett ahead of him in the pecking order, however, he has made a number of appearances for the Saints in the past few years.

Yet, he will now be linking up with Boro and will hope to establish himself as a regular in their promotion push.

Pulis' men travel to Leeds tomorrow as the top two in the Championship face off, with McQueen likely to be involved.

Here's how fans reacted to his arrival...
