Leeds United suffered more away day misery with a 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa last night, that means they still haven't won on the road in 2018.

There were some positives for Paul Heckingbottom's men, with the performances of several young players offering hope for the future.

However, the Whites looked particularly weak in the first-half, barely threatening the hosts and fortunate to go in just a goal down at the break.

Caleb Ekuban struggled in the first 45, with the striker very wasteful on the ball in the final third and failing to hold the ball up to bring others into play.

Given that, and the team performance, few were surprised to see Ekuban taken off at the break, with Samuel Saiz coming on his place. And, the side improved as a result.

It extends the 24-year old's poor run, with the ex-Chievo man without a goal in four games and has just one in 18 this season.
