Marcelo Bielsa has done an outstanding job with Leeds United over the course of the last 18 months, transforming the Whites from mid-table mediocrity to promotion chasers.

Leeds famously fell short last season, but both they and Bielsa are back for more this term, with the Whites top of the table as things stand and on a five-game winning streak.

As always, Leeds and their Argentine boss have been the subject of discussion across the media, with talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan stating that the Elland Road chief could be an ideal candidate to replace Marco Silva at Everton given the Toffees’ struggles this year in the Premier League.

Of course, it is all Jordan’s opinion, but it has still caused plenty of reaction on a Leeds United Fan Group on Facebook.

The general feeling is that Bielsa wouldn’t leave Leeds for Goodison, with the attitude of the Elland Road faithful seemingly relaxed.

Here, we break down some responses…

Sam Gallagher: “He wouldn’t go anywhere anyway he’s the kind who won’t leave a project unfinished.”

Frank Wilkinson: “He won’t go backwards.”

Stevo Stephenson: “He won’t go, he is a loyal man.”

Paul Bird: “I think he’s fallen in love with Leeds and Yorkshire bless.”

Donal Coyle: “He’s ours and going nowhere.”

Tim Cragg: “He’s going nowhere expect the Prem with Leeds.”

David Salmon: “Get stuffed he’s not going anywhere.”

John Farnan: “Everton are no bigger than Leeds United. If we get promoted we will be better placed to give Bielsa what he wants.”
