Jamie Paterson was an important player for Nottingham Forest throughout his time at the City Ground.
The 28-year-old scored 14 goals in 69 appearances for the Reds in all competitions throughout his three years at the club and was a fans’ favourite on the City Ground, before leaving the club to join Bristol City in 2016.
The forward spent the first half of the current season on loan at Derby County, but he struggled to make an impact, scoring one goal in ten Championship appearances for the Rams.
He was recalled by Bristol City recently and made his first appearance of the season for the Robins at the weekend, scoring in the 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic.
This promoted a Forest fan on Facebook to ask his fellow supporters whether they would like to see Paterson back at the City Ground.
The fan wrote in ‘The Original Nottingham Forest Supporters Group’ on Facebook: “Jamie Paterson was recalled from loan this month and promptly got on the scoresheet for Bristol yesterday. Were it an option, would you have him back at Forest? I personally would.”
