After the recent collapse of a PFA wage bail-out at Bolton Wanderers, the club has confirmed some positive news this morning.

In a statement on the club’s official website, it was revealed that chairman Ken Anderson will personally facilitate the late payment of wages for all coaching and playing staff at the club.

A deal with the PFA to part-pay the players’ wages had been agreed but that fell through after the organisation noticed a winding-up order on the books of the Championship side.

That left the Bolton chairman short of alternatives, and he has decided that wages for the playing and coaching staff will be paid, in full, on Friday morning.

It is positive news to come out of the club after the recent turmoil that has beset the relegation-threatened outfit since the summer.

Bolton fans took to Twitter to react to the news of Anderson’s intervention to pay the players’ wages for November, and there was plenty of tongue-in-cheek responses to the update.

With that said, here’s what the Trotters’ supporters said in light of the news on Wednesday morning.
