It's safe to say that it's not been the season that many Huddersfield Town fans would have had in mind in what is their first season back in the Championship.

The Terriers were relegated from the Premier League in last year's campaign, and they would have been hoping they could make a swift return into the top-flight, but that hasn't been the case.

Danny Cowley's side are currently sat 20th in the Championship table, and will be hoping they can find a positive run of results at the earliest of opportunities, to extend their five point advantage over the teams in the relegation zone.

One player that has been a rare bright spark in recent weeks is Steve Mounie, who has six goals to his name this season, and he'll be hoping he can build on some impressive showings.

We took to the 'Huddersfield Town - Championship Banter' Facebook group to pose the question as to what the Terriers supporters have made of Mounie's performances so far this season.

Take a look at the best of the reaction from Facebook below....

Mikey Broomfield: "He's in great form and I said before the season started give him the service he'll score at this level. But you're always going to get the odd game like last night with him. Sometimes he does himself no favours missing opportunities like he does."

Robin Sykes: "Nobody better than him in the air! Sometimes his first touch let’s him down, but I think he’s turned the Cowley’s heads. Very, very good Championship player. Always thought him and Grant/Campbell would kill it but two up-top isn’t the ‘modern way’."

Joe Williams: "Give the lad service and he scores."

Peter Kimberley: "Give him service & he'll score goals."

Richard Midwood: "People behind me Wednesday night slaying him off then when he got taken off suddenly saying he were our best player. Just sums up some fans."

Richie Lloyd: "Thought he was class when we bought him and my opinion hasn't changed. Wins virtually every header he challenges for and is pretty good in front of goal when he gets the crosses."

Liam Blackburn: "Reckon we should just play around him, as almost every game he plays and gets service he scores, by far our best player at the moment."
