It has been such a disappointing second-half to the season for Leeds United, with Paul Heckingbottom’s side drifting towards a mid-table finish in the Sky Bet Championship.

Despite a flying start to the 2017/18 campaign, which left Leeds in play-off contention, the Whites haven’t been able to build, with a mid-table finish, following next Sunday’s clash with QPR, inevitable.

Heckingbottom has had a good look at his playing squad over the last three months, and is sure to be reaching a conclusion on who will be sticking around next season and who will be offloaded.

There have been a number of disappointing contributors at Elland Road this season, particularly post-Christmas, with some of Heckingbottom’s decision sure to be easy ones given the level of performance.

With that in mind, we take a closer look at Leeds’ squad, identifying THREE players surely heading for the Elland Road exit door…

Wiedwald’s contribution in goal has been embarrassing at times this season, with the German goalkeeper looking way out of his depth.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell has staked a claim to be regular No.1 next season, and with Leeds sure to be on the lookout for another senior goalkeeper in the summer, Wiedwald’s Elland Road career seems over.

Lasogga’s contribution in attack this season hasn’t been good enough at all, with Leeds surely unable to justify the money it would take to get the German back to Elland Road.

The 26-year-old’s loan looks set to end without Leeds pursuing a permanent deal.

Cibicki hasn’t had a chance under Heckingbottom, with the Elland Road head-coach clearly not a fan of the forward.

Nearly every senior member of Leeds’ squad has had a chance recently, but with Cibicki not featuring, it is hard to see a way back next season.
