Elokobi is an ex-Wolves left-back who joined the club in 2008, he was signed for a reported £300,000 from Colchester United. He was kept out of the side by an knee-ligament injury until the final day of the season against Doncaster Rovers. The 28-year-old played regularly for Wolves in the Premier League, scoring a notable goal for the club in a League Cup tie against Manchester United in October 2010. He added a second goal against United with his first league goal for the club a year later on the 5th February 2011, adding a second minutes later. Loan spells to Nottingham Forest followed as he found game-time limited, helping the club pull away from the relegation places in the 2011/2012 Championship campaign. When Wolves appointed manager Ståle Solbakken, Elokobi appearances were limited, he was not used in the starting line-up during a league match. To gain playing time he signed on a 93-day emergency loan for Championship side Bristol City on 26 September. However, he fractured and dislocated his ankle on his debut against Leeds causing him to miss most of the remainder of the season. He his comeback in Wolves' final fixture, a game which confirmed a second consecutive relegation as they entered League One. Under new Wolves manager Kenny Jackett, Elokobi made only a handful of appearances as the team won promotion as League One champions, he was released when his contract expired in May.
