Sheffield United's season continued to gather pace this afternoon as they saw off Leeds United at Elland Road.

The Blades saw a goal from Chris Basham give them the three points, and it was another fine defensive display which showed their promotion credentials once again.

And going into the summer, regardless of if the Blades are in the Championship or the top flight, we here at FLW think that the Blades need to be going all out to ensure they sign loanee goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

The Man United man has been in fine form since arriving in the summer and has got himself firmly established as a fan favourite at Bramall Lane too.

However, it's not just his off field antics and passion which deserve praise, with Henderson keeping seven consecutive clean sheets after having a nightmare game at Aston Villa just over a month ago.

This has shown his character, and for a goalkeeper who is only 22-years0-old, it shows just what quality and belief in his own ability he has.

Manchester United won't let him go on the cheap, but he is not going to be getting into the Old Trafford XI while David De Gea is there, and a move to Bramall Lane on a permanent basis would make sense for both the player and the club.

There is always talk of spending money on people who can put the ball in the back of the net, but equally, it is important to keep the ball out too.

Henderson ensures Blades manager Chris Wilder doesn't have to worry about that, and if he has a budget in the summer to spend, then Henderson needs to be top of his shopping list.
