As we sit just a matter of weeks away from the end of the season, the sides at the top and the bottom of the table are shaping up for a frantic finale.

It would take a disastrous run of form for the top four to fall out of the top six but it looks to be a fight between a few sides for fifth and sixth position.

Currently in sixth position is Sheffield Wednesday. But Carlos Carvalhal's side are certainly not sitting comfortably as they lie just two points ahead of seventh place Fulham, who also have a game on hand on the Owls.

On Tuesday night, Slavisa Jokanovic's Fulham host relegation troubled Blackburn Rovers and if they were to get a win, they would move into the top six for the first time since the beginning of September.

Sheffield Wednesday will then host a tricky fixture on Friday night as they welcome Reading to town in a crucial match that could put one side in a great position and the other left having to rely on results to go their way come Saturday afternoon.

If you flip through the calendar all the way to the last match of the season, you will find an increasingly intriguing fixture as the Owls face none other than Fulham on the last day of the season.

Anything could happen between now and the end of the season: it could go right down to the wire. And if it does, the neutrals are sure to be in for a treat.
