Leeds United continued their fine run of form and took a solid 1-0 win at Bristol City yesterday.

The win meant they leapfrogged Sheffield United back into second place and they remain only two points behind Norwich City at the summit of the table.

However, with match winner Patrick Bamford going off injured after getting the winner yesterday, there are once again concerns over whether Leeds can indeed continue to pick up the wins needed in the final ten games of the season.

Of course, Bamford may indeed be back for this week's game with Reading this week and all bad thoughts can be put to bed, but if he has got a bad knock, then Leeds could end up kissing their promotion hopes goodbye.

With Kemar Roofe also on the sidelines and struggling to get back into the fold due to his injury, losing Bamford would be a bitter blow for the Whites as they look to maintain their form.

Bamford has been a key man in recent weeks, finally showing the quality which convinced Leeds to splash the cash on him over the summer, and with three goals in his last two appearances, his quality has only been further highlighted.

The former Boro striker is one of the better goalscorers in the Championship on his day, and if he doesn't manage to come back from his latest set-back, then Bielsa and his coaching staff will have some big decisions to make heading into a crucial run of games.

Leeds fans will be hoping that Bamford's injury is not a serious one, and with Sheffield United on the agenda this coming weekend,it's vital he is fit and firing to ensure the Elland Road outfit don't lose ground in what is a fiercly contested race for promotion in the Championship.
