Hull City seem set for another campaign in the Championship, with the Tigers viewing next season as an excellent opportunity to build.

The likes of Barnsley, Luton Town and Coventry City have shown that a significant improvement can be made during a club's second season back in the Championship, with Hull hoping to follow suit.

Already possessing some excellent, young players, there is certainly a risk that a couple of their brightest prospects could head on to pastures new.

West Ham and Brentford are admirers of Hull winger Keane Lewis-Potter and Jacob Greaves, whilst a Mail Online report yesterday revealed that Tottenham are monitoring the progress of the former.

Lewis-Potter has been a consistent source of creativity for the Tigers this season, and should he depart in the summer, then he would leave a glaring void in the chance-creation department.

One player who has looked a level above in League One this season is Bolton Wanderers winger Oladapo Afolayan.

After a rather unproductive 2020/21 League Two campaign with the Trotters, from a statistics perspective, he has thrived in the higher division.

Afolayan has returned 11 goals and five assists in 38 league appearances for his Bolton side this season, proving to be a constant threat on the left wing.

Interestingly, Premier League-bound Fulham are interested in a move for the 24-year-old, as per a report from The Bolton News, and whilst he certainly has the potential to operate in England's top-flight, Championship football would be the next logical step.

Should the Cottagers secure a deal for the exciting winger, then Hull should look to agree a loan move.

Not only is Afolayan a player who will consistently churn out chances, he is also someone who possesses bucket loads of attacking intelligence, adding to the threat he already poses.

Afolayan looks destined for a higher-level move in the summer and it would be no surprise to see the Tigers make a move if Lewis-Potter heads on a Premier League adventure.

Afolayan has looked head and shoulders above League One level at times this season and could be an excellent addition to an ambitious side in Hull City.
