Things change dramatically in football but Blackburn Rovers story like many other football clubs is remarkable.

10 years ago they found themselves in the UEFA Cup, facing up against Dutch giants Feyenoord.

A team which contained Benni McCarthy, Morten Gamst Pedersen and Tugay.

They possessed real belief back then and were a team going places.

Welshman Mark Hughes was the manager, and they were a real force to be reckoned with. They had fantastic balance, and great depth about them which saw them get in to the UEFA Cup and play alongside the second-tier of the Europe elite.

Then everything changed, the Venkys took over, and like all other owners tend to do nowadays, dictated.

Soon after Steve Kean was appointed, and Blackburn were relegated to the Championship.

These days they are managed by former Burnley and Bolton manager Owen Coyle, and are currently occupying a relegation spot.

A position the players or fans don't want to be.

But it looks more likely that Rovers will be relegated to the third tier of English football than promoted back to the Premier League.

It would be the first time they would be in the third tier since 1980.

Fans have been more angry than ever this season, staging mass protests against their Indian owners.

Just a decade ago they were playing in Europe, against some of the best teams in the world, but they look a shadow of that team now.

The future of Blackburn Rovers looks like it's going to be a bleak one.

It is hard to see a way back for the East Lancashire club too, who have seen their bitter rivals Burnley compete against the Premier elite in recent seasons.

Of course another relegation would be incomprehensible, especially a team of Blackburn's calibre but it is looking more and more likely it will occur.

What do you think Blackburn fans? Do you think you will be relegated to league one? Ten years after having the Europe success, how are you feeling about your chances of staying in the Championship?
