Luton Town got their second win in three home games yesterday evening as the Hatters defeated Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 under the lights at Kenilworth Road.

James Collins' 23rd-minute tap in at his near post after good work from Harry Cornick on the right-hand side proved to be enough for the Hatters to take all three points.

Graeme Jones's side now move off the bottom of the Championship table as a result of the win, but still remain seven points from safety.

The game also saw goalkeeper Simon Sluga keep his first league clean sheet of the season, and just the second overall for the Hatters this term in the Championship.

Town now have back-to-back away games against Middlesbrough and Charlton on the horizon, and the team will want to build on their recent home form in those fixtures.

Loads of Luton Town fans took to Twitter after the full-time whistle to share their thoughts on what was a successful night at Kenilworth Road.
