Sheffield Wednesday fans have left the club in no doubt as to exactly what a derby fixture is this morning, with a series of acerbic replies to their official social media feed.

In response to fixtures being released, club officials put out two graphics, one highlighting the key fixtures and the other showing when the derby matches were. That graphic included Rotherham United and Leeds United.

Owls fans care little for Stoke or Swansea, they weren't searching for Blackburn or Wigan and there wasn't even a suggestion that they were interested in Leeds or Rotherham. On both posts, there was only one game they were interested in. The Steel City Derby.

On November 10th they travel to Bramall Lane, whilst March 2nd sees the return leg at Hillsborough. If promotion isn't achieved this season, as long as they remain in the Championship, a double over the Blades would signal success of sorts.

Wednesday lost 4-2 to United at Hillsborough last season, saving some face with a 0-0 draw at Bramall Lane earlier this year, but their fans won't be settling for the same this time around. Few fans will have been so focused on two fixtures as Owls supporters were this morning.
