‘Only positive from this season’ – Many Ipswich Town fans react to exciting club announcement
Ipswich travel to Plymouth Argyle this afternoon hoping to end their three-match winless run in League One.
Paul Lambert’s side have fallen off the pace in recent weeks after suffering defeats against two of their promotion rivals in Hull City and Charlton, before a goalless draw at Oxford last time out.
It’s now just three league victories in nine matches for the Tractor Boys, although they’re only three points adrift of second-placed Lincoln City ahead of long trip down to Home Park later on.

Despite their recent poor form, Ipswich were given a huge boost on the eve of the game, after 21-year-old midfielder, Andre Dozzell, signed fresh terms at Portman Road.
Dozzell has been one of the few success stories in what has been a tough season for the Tractor Boys – with the club officially announcing his new three-year contract on Twitter on Friday night.
The mood around the club has been quite negative of late, so this was a timely boost, with many of the Portman Road faithful expressing their delight on social media.
