Swansea City fans were devastated to learn the news that Lukasz Fabianski has officially left the club.

The 6ft 3in goalkeeper has joined West Ham United for an undisclosed fee and penned a three-year deal with the Hammers, the club's official website confirmed.

The Poland international - who is currently at the World Cup with his country - played 150 games in a four-year stay at The Liberty Stadium after joining on a free transfer from Arsenal.

During this time, he become a firm fans' favourite and won the Player of the Season accolade last term despite the club's relegation to the Championship.

The 33-year-old has now returned to the Premier League where he joins Adrian in West Ham's goalkeeping ranks.
