Back-to-back defeats against Reading and Brentford has sent Leeds United’s fans into panic, as their place in the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs appears to be under threat.

Garry Monk’s side are still fifth, but are now just five-points ahead of seventh-placed Fulham with six fixtures of the regular season remaining.

Leeds have now received more bad news, with Liam Cooper handed a six-game suspension for violent conduct in the defeat to Reading.

Cooper made contact with the head of Reading’s Reece Oxford, leading to the FA handing the defender a lengthy suspension.

The 25-year old missed last night’s defeat to Brentford as part of his suspension, and will be unavailable until Leeds’ trip to Wigan Athletic, for the last game of the regular season.

Cooper has found opportunities limited this season, but had regained his place in the starting 11 following an impressive display against Brighton and Hove Albion prior to the international break.
