Burnley are considering a summer move for Coventry City star Callum O'Hare, as per a Patreon from journalist Alan Nixon.

O'Hare, who enjoyed another strong campaign with the Sky Blues last season, chipped in with five goals and eight assists in 45 league games last time out.

Vincent Kompany has completed some excellent bits of business early on in this transfer window, and whilst it would seemingly take a lot to lure O'Hare away from Mark Robin's project at Coventry, the Clarets do possess a superior financial situation.

Here, we take a look at one winner and one loser at Burnley if O'Hare is to arrive at Turf Moor this summer...

One winner - Ashley Barnes

O'Hare's ability to commit defenders and link the play with his direct running and intricate passing abilities, Ashley Barnes is someone who could benefit from that.

A player that thrives with excellent service, having a creative option like O'Hare around him would certainly aid a transition back into the Championship.

One of the division's best attacking midfielders, the 24-year-old is someone who also gambles off a striker, which could add an extra dynamic to this potential partnership.

One loser - Scott Twine

Scott Twine is an excellent talent who has the ability to feature regularly for Burnley next season, however, that could be made more difficult if O'Hare is to arrive.

Similar in the way that they operate, O'Hare's Championship experience could help the 24-year-old emerge as a starter over Twine, although there is scope for the pair to operate within the same team.

A number 10 by trade, Twine proved to thrive in several different roles last year, including as a striker, something that might happen again during the upcoming campaign.

Both are extremely talented footballers, and if Kompany does manage to add O'Hare, then he will be eager to get the pair in the starting XI.
