Leeds United continued what is seemingly an inevitable charge to the Premier League on Saturday thanks to a 2-1 win against QPR at Elland Road.

The win left them in second-place but with West Bromwich Albion dropping points, it meant they opened up a five-point lead on third-place.

But with January approaching, the club will undoubtedly be keen to give his side an edge during the transfer window, with the goalkeeping position high on his agenda after Jamal Blackman's leg-break.

A new target emerged on Monday with Newcastle United shot-stopper Karl Darlow apparently attracting interest from the Whites.

The 28-year-old has fallen out of favour at St. James's Park since the arrival of Martin Dubravka in January and is also currently sidelined with an elbow injury.

If he does make the move from the North East to Yorkshire, who would be the winners and losers from the situation?

Bizarrely, the big winner from this situation could well be Peacock-Farrell.

Yes, there is an increased chance that he will lose his spot in the first team, but it also means that, for the first time, he will have an experienced and highly rated teammate from which to learn from.

If he can learn from Darlow on the training ground, it will make him a much better 'keeper.

Huffer will most likely be the biggest loser here.

With just Peacock-Farrell at the club, the 20-year-old appeared to have been installed as Bielsa's number two but any game time now appears unlikely.

Of course, there is a chance he will still be a success, but this is a blow.
