West Brom still have a few things to sort this summer before they are ready to kick off their Championship campaign.

The men from the Hawthorns have got plenty of quality among their squad already but the futures of some players remain in doubt.

Indeed, Darren Moore could still potentially see some key figures leave and so he'll be wanting to have plans in place should they move on.

One potential recruit, then, could be Dwight Gayle with their initial loan bid being rejected for the player by Newcastle United as the Magpies themselves look to get their squad ready for the new campaign.

With that said, though, the Baggies might just go back for him before Deadline Day and so we've been exploring the potential winners and losers if the player does arrive at the Hawthorns.

Here, then, is one of each...

One of the potential winners of the arrival of Gayle could be Sam Field.

A young player with plenty of ability, he'll be looking to play more this coming season.

With Gayle capable of excellent runs, he could enable Field to really kick on with his vision and passing from deep and allow him to showcase that.

Hal Robson-Kanu could be potentially one to suffer.

A player who struggled in the Premier League, he might shine more in the Championship next season.

However, if Gayle comes in you feel that the Welshman would be playing second fiddle for much of the campaign.
