West Brom are believed to be among a host of Championship clubs chasing Manchester United youngster Hannibal Mejbri.

The 19-year-old, who has already won 16 caps for Tunisia, has impressed key figures at Old Trafford over the years but he is understandably going to find it tough to break into Erik Ten Hag's plans this season.

Therefore, a loan move is seen as the best step for his development and Sky Sports revealed that Albion are rivalling Birmingham, Millwall, Middlesbrough and clubs on the continent to sign Mejbri this season.

And, here we look at ONE winner and ONE loser if the player made the move to The Hawthorns...

Winner: Steve Bruce

There were real fears for some Baggies fans going into the window as it was widely reported that Bruce wouldn't get significant financial backing. So, you'd presume the manager was anxious as well, knowing it was going to be tough to have the sort of window they needed.

However, so far it's been excellent. Okay Yokuslu, John Swift and Jed Wallace all joined as free agents and bringing in Mejbri on loan would make it even better for the boss.

It would also give him a very talented midfielder to pick from and the prospect of the talented teenager combining with Yokuslu is one that would excite the boss.

Loser: Jake Livermore

The arrival of Turkish international Yokuslu is going to make it difficult for Livermore to get in the team anyway, so if Mejbri signs it becomes an even tougher task for the former Hull man.

Whilst no player is ever guaranteed to play all the time, the reality is that United would want some assurances, so you'd expect Mejbri to play initially.

With the 4-2-3-1 formation looking good for this group, it means Livermore may be spending more time on the bench.
