Even though Leeds United have yet to make any additions to their squad this summer, that could be about to change if Marcelo Bielsa can secure a loan deal to bring in talented Liverpool winger Ryan Kent.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Whites are reportedly eyeing up a move for the wide man, with Rangers also keeping tabs on the winger.

A supremely gifted player, the 22-year-old produced a number of sensational performances for the Light Blues last season with his six goals and six assists contributing to the club's second place finish in the Scottish Premiership.

Although Steven Gerrard will be confident that he can convince Kent to make the move back to Ibrox given his connections with Liverpool, Bielsa's excellent track-record of getting the very best out of his players could mean a move to the Championship is best for Kent's career.

Here we look at ONE winner and ONE loser should Kent make a move to Elland Road...

Winner: Kemar Roofe

Leeds' top-scorer in the Championship last season, Kemar Roofe was virtually unplayable when at his very best with performances against Queens Park Rangers and Derby County sending an unerring statement to the rest of the Championship.

Yet due to a myriad of injury issues, the forward was limited to just 34 appearances in all competitions with his absence playing a key role in why the Whites were unable to secure promotion to the Premier League last month.

Although Roofe managed to fire in 15 goals during the 2018/19 campaign, he would undoubtedly benefit from the arrival of Kent as the Liverpool ace could provide him with some outstanding service from the wide areas.

If the two attackers can form a fruitful partnership, there is no reason why Leeds cannot secure top-flight football.

Loser: Jack Clarke

Despite being one of the most exciting young prospects to come out of Leeds' Thorp Arch academy in recent years, Jack Clarke could end up having to watch on from the sidelines next season if Bielsa signs Kent.

Whereas he may be given the occasional chance to prove himself from the bench, the 18-year-old's development could he hampered by a lack of first-team action.

Leeds are believed to be in the market for more wingers so Clarke may not be a regular next season - providing he stays.
