Huddersfield Town have recently been linked with a move for Watford striker Isaac Success according to a report from the Watford Observer.

The report claims that the Terriers are targeting a loan move for the out-of-favour Premier League forward before Friday's deadline for transfers.

Success is yet to make a league start for Watford this season, and has largely been used as a substitute for the Hornets in this year's campaign.

So, a loan move could be on the cards for the 24-year-old in the near future, and Danny Cowley will be hoping that he can convince the striker to sign for his side to bolster their depth in attacking areas for the remainder of the season.

Huddersfield are currently sat 19th in the Championship table, and will be hoping they can they can pull themselves clear of the relegation zone at the earliest of opportunities.

We take a look at ONE winner and ONE loser if Huddersfield Town are to strike a deal with Watford to sign Success on loan this season.

Winner: Danny Cowley

Huddersfield could certainly benefit from adding additional depth to their striking options, and Success would certainly provide them with that.

Danny Cowley already has Fraizer Campbell, Karlan Grant and Steve Mounie available to him in attack, so adding a player of Success' quality to their ranks would provide the Huddersfield boss with a welcome selection dilemma for the remainder of this year's campaign.

Huddersfield are struggling this season, and if Success was to arrive, he could prove to be the player they need to fire themselves up the Championship table.

Loser: Steve Mounie

Mounie has been restricted to just 17 appearances this season for Huddersfield in all competitions, and it seems as though he isn't favoured by Danny Cowley.

The forward is below Fraizer Campbell in the pecking order in Cowley's plans this term, and if Success was to arrive before Friday's deadline, then you have to feel as though it would only push Mounie further down the pecking order in the Huddersfield squad.

The 25-year-old has previously been linked with a move to French side Rennes, although it remains to be seen as to whether an official approach has been made for his services.
