Millwall have started off this year’s Championship campaign in indifferent form, having won once and drawing twice.

Three defeats on the bounce for Neil Harris’ men have compounded them to a mid-table position after the first batch of games.

Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham United and Swansea City have all stolen a march on their rivals, taking the three points away from the Lions in what has been a poor recent run of form.

When the Championship resumes next week, Millwall host table-topping Leeds United at The Den hoping to reignite their faltering campaign.

The two weeks off will allow the Londoners to take stock of the half-dozen set of fixtures ahead of what is going to be a busy period between now and the next international interval in October.

With that said, here is one winner and one loser from Millwall’s season so far after the first batch of fixtures before the current international break.

Millwall’s new signing, a club-record capture before the arrival of Ryan Leonard comes into the side at the right time with the international break affording him time to settle into his new surroundings.

The move to London gives Bradshaw the opportunity to play in the Championship once more, as well as the potential for a Wales national team recall if he is able to hit form.

More importantly, he is able to move back closer to his family and find hopefully best form for the Lions who would benefit greatly from that.

After last season’s virtuoso run of form, the winger was expected to hit the ground running this time out.

A late bid from Middlesbrough was rebuffed, which become public knowledge.

That could have affected his mentality having seen former teammate George Saville leave for the Riverside.

That could be a reason for his below-par performances so far this season, as he is as out of form this year as he was in form last season.

It hasn’t bee the best of starts 24-year-old who could potentially be dropped for the visit of Leeds United next week.
