Frank Lampard picked up his first home win as Derby County manager after beating Ipswich Town last night at Pride Park.

Derby ran out comfortable 2-0 winners in the end, with Joe Ledley and Tom Lawrence grabbing the goals.

Ledley hit a long range strike into the top corner - courtesy of a fortuitous deflection - while Lawrence scored with a low free-kick.

After back-to-back defeats in the league, this was exactly what Lampard needed and Derby now move onto six points after four matches.

Ipswich, on the other hand, sit just above the relegation zone, having picked up just two points in their opening four games.

Last night, we witnessed some good performances and some less impressive displays from different players.

Here is one winner and one loser from Derby's 2-0 win over Ipswich at Pride Park last night.

This could have gone to Lampard for his first win as manager or Lawrence for his third goal in four league games.

But instead, the winner was academy product Bogle, who had a week to remember.

The 18-year-old only made his senior debut in last week's EFL Cup win over Oldham Athletic but he went on to start against Millwall and then retain his place for this clash with Ipswich.

Bogle was arguably man of the match last night and the young right-back is one to watch for the future.

Bialkowski has won the Ipswich Player of the Year accolade for three consecutive seasons and resisted interest from elsewhere to commit his future to the club this summer.

But the Poland international has not been the same this year and made yet another error last night.

With Ledley's goal, there is not much he can do but he should have done better with Lawrence's free-kick.

Although Bialkowski might have have had a poor view of the free-kick, he should have organised his wall better and he got a firm hand to the ball so it should have stayed out.
