It was only a matter of time before interest in Leeds United starlet Jack Clarke emerged, and the latest news is that Premier League giants Manchester City are interested in landing the wonderkid.

The 18-year old has flourished under Marcelo Bielsa this season - making five appearances for the first-team after progressing through the youth ranks at Elland Road.

In his most recent appearance, Clarke was at his best - setting up Pablo Hernandez for a late strike in the Whites' 1-0 away win at Sheffield United last weekend.

It comes as no surprise to many that Pep Guardiola is interested in signing the youngster, especially with his fond relationship with Marcelo Bielsa, after hailing the 63-year old as "the best coach in the world", upon his arrival at Elland Road in the summer.

If Clarke were to depart Leeds for the Etihad Stadium, then it's bounds to have it's consequences, and here, we take a look at one winner and one loser if Manchester City landed the winger.

After being an impressive figure for Thomas Christiansen last term, Alioski has found life at Elland Road this time around.

The Macedonian winger, despite starting every single league game for Leeds this campaign, has been taken off at half-time for two successive games, in place of Clarke.

If Clarke were to leave, then the 26-year old would feel like it's a weight lifted of his shoulders, as he looks to reignite his impressive form displayed last term.

It's fair to say that the speculation linking Clarke with a move to City has split Leeds fans right down the middle.

Some want him to move to City on the simple basis that they'll receive a hefty transfer fee for the youngster, but the vast majority want Leeds to stop being a selling club and let Clarke be a legend at Elland Road.

If Leeds were to sell him, then Bielsa could come under major criticism by some Leeds fans, who aren't exactly the quietest of fanbases.
