One winner and one loser at Middlesbrough if Warnock wraps up deal for Premier League player

Middlesbrough are set to reignite their interest in signing Everton winger Yannick Bolasie according to Football Insider.
The midfielder is yet to make an appearance for the Toffees’ first-team, and will be eager to find regular game time elsewhere in the January transfer window.
Bolasie almost signed for Middlesbrough on Deadline Day, but both parties failed to finalise the paperwork in time to complete a deal.

Middlesbrough are currently sat 11th in the Championship table, and Neil Warnock clearly sees Bolasie as a player that can add something to his team.
The winger caught the eye with a number of impressive performances for Crystal Palace earlier in his career, but has struggled with injuries since moving to Everton back in 2016.
We take a look at ONE winner and ONE loser at Middlesbrough if they complete a deal to sign Bolasie in the January transfer window.
Winner: Neil Warnock
The Middlesbrough manager is the winner if they manage to get a deal over the line to sign Bolasie in the January transfer window.
The winger has shown that he can perform to a high standard in the Premier League, and if he can get back to his best, it’ll be somewhat of a coup for Boro to land his signature.
Middlesbrough could certainly benefit from having additional depth in their side this season, as rotation is key for any side that is looking to mount a serious challenge for promotion into the Premier League.
Loser: Patrick Roberts
Roberts is currently on loan at Middlesbrough from Premier League giants Manchester City.
The winger has made six appearances for Boro this season, although just three of those have been starts for Neil Warnock’s side. Roberts came on as a late substitute in their recent match against Preston North End.
Bolasie’s potential arrival could push Roberts even further down the pecking order in Warnock’s plans, which make him the loser in this potential transfer agreement.
