Marcelo Bielsa will be delighted with Leeds United’s form heading into the festive period, with the Whites maintaining their strong position in the race for automatic promotion.

Leeds have won four on the bounce in the Championship, continuing to look strong under Bielsa.

Yesterday, Bielsa’s side beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 at Elland Road, but the Whites were made to work for their three points.

Nahki Wells fired the R’s ahead in the game, but Kemar Roofe’s brace either side of the break was enough for Leeds to pick up the victory.

It was a solid performance from Leeds, although they were far from their best.

As always, there were some good performances and some bad performances, and here at FLW, we start to dissect the match.

Here is a look at ONE winner and ONE loser within Bielsa’s playing squad…

There’s nowhere else to start.

Roofe is on fire right now and has taken his tally of goals to 10 for the season.

He’s proving to be the clinical striker Leeds need to mount a serious promotion challenge.

The way he dispatched his penalty showed the confidence he’s got.

To be fair to Alioski, his performance was an improvement on what we’ve seen in recent weeks.

However, he’s not offering nearly enough from the wing.

You get that feeling that if it wasn’t for Leeds’ mounting injury problems, he’d be out of the side.
