Burnley could once again go in for Joe Worrall in the coming transfer window as they seek defensive reinforcement, according to Sun journalist Alan Nixon.

The Clarets have struggled so far this season in the Premier League and find themselves rather in a mini-league down at the bottom with Fulham, West Brom and Sheffield United at the moment.

January could be important for all four sides, then, and according to Nixon, Nottingham Forest defender Worrall could well be of interest to the men from Turf Moor.

With that said, then, here's one winner and one loser at Forest that we could see if he makes an exit...

Winner: Loic Mbe Soh

Young defender Mbe Soh might well be the big beneficiary here as it moves him a spot up the pecking order.

The youngster has played just a couple of games for Forest since his arrival with more senior defenders in front of him right now.

Worrall's exit, though, would naturally shift him nearer more regular first-team matters.

Loser: Scott McKenna

McKenna has had a good start to proceedings on an individual basis despite some of the struggles we've seen from Forest this season.

He and Worrall could potentially build a strong partnership at the back for Forest so to see the latter potentially taken away so soon would be a blow for the former Aberdeen man.

Added to that, Tobias Figueiredo has struggled at times this season so it naturally weakens Forest's back-line as a whole if this exit happens.
