Leeds United remain hot on the heels of Norwich City at the moment in the Sky Bet Championship and are well in the promotion race.

Despite a number of injuries across the pitch, the Whites have been able to dig out results to keep pace - often leaning on some impressive young players at their disposal.

Certainly, Jack Clarke is one of those and he has arguably impressed most of all the players to have broken through this year.

Indeed, with his performances of late in mind, the Mirror is reporting that Chelsea have joined Manchester City in pursuit of him.

So what can the two Premier League sides expect if they sign him? We take a look.

Clarke is a brave young winger with low centre of gravity.

He is slight in build but that is more down to his age than anything else and that doesn't stop him from marauding forwards and attacking full-backs at will.

Still a teenager, his exuberance for the game is unabashed and when he gets on the ball he is positive and looks to drive forwards and beat a man.

Opponents have tried to kick him in the air already this season but he only goes back for more - a testament to his mentality and character, whilst his work-rate is typical for a young player under Marcelo Bielsa's guise.

Of course, there are things that he needs to work on but that comes with age and, crucially, the key facets for good players are already established with Clarke.

He's a winger of some promise, then, boasting an old-school style and if either City or Chelsea nab him and develop him properly, they should have a good player on their hands.
