Swansea City will be relatively happy with their start to the Sky Bet Championship season this year with them just on the coat-tails of the top six.

Of the sides to come down from the Premier League, the Swans probably underwent the most upheaval as big changes occurred not only among the playing staff but in the coaching roles as well.

Graham Potter and his bright young gaggle of players, though, have gone about their task diligently and often with panache and it would not be such a shock to see them achieve a top-six place with a bit more consistency.

Certainly, they've got some very talented footballers doing the business right now and that brings us to our latest One To Watch subject - Daniel James.

Few things excite as much in the game as a winger that has pace and can beat a man out-wide.

It gets people out of their seats and it gets teams on the front foot and James has managed to provide both in equal measure for the Welsh club this season.

A player that gets chalk on his boots, the Swansea exodus in the summer has benefited him no end.

He's made nine appearances in the second tier so far and his end product has provided four assists - though he'll want to be adding goals to his game too.

It's a breakthrough season for him, though, having hardly played any senior football for the club prior to this campaign and, as the games keep coming, he's certainly improving.

In the last few matches he's played he's started to unlock defences more and, against Rotherham, he was arguably the club's best player on the pitch as they suffered a 2-1 defeat.

Clearly, he is riding the crest of the wave right now and, with a manager in Potter that will happily keep him playing, we could, and perhaps even should, see him continue to cause havoc in the months to come.
