Charlton Athletic lost 2-0 to Blackburn Rovers in the Championship at The Valley yesterday.

Lee Bowyer would have been hoping to see the same output from his Charlton side that beat Nottingham Forest in midweek, but they were brushed aside by Blackburn yesterday who've now lost just one of their last seven.

John Buckley put Rovers ahead just after half-an-hour, and Oluwatosin Adarabioyo doubled the lead minutes later.

Charlton made several changes in the second-half, bringing off Matt Smith and Aiden McGeady who made their full league debuts, but couldn't find a way past a formidable Blackburn side.

The Valley has only seen one home win since October, and fans were rightfully aggravated at another bleak showing in-front of a full-house in South East London.
