Leeds United have enjoyed a sensational start to the Championship season with two wins against title contenders Stoke City and Derby County.

A key ingredient of this impressive start has been the form of 5ft 10 attacker Kemar Roofe who scored twice in the 4 - 1 win against the Rams at the weekend.

How impressive was Roofe's performance?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

It's always been clear Roofe has ability, but previous managers weren't able to get it out of him.

That can't be said for Bielsa, I thought Roofe was excellent, he led the line superbly and if he keeps on playing like that, how will £7m Patrick Bamford ever get a kick?

I'm delighted for Roofe, he showed in League Two he has what it takes and in the right set up, he's thriving.

Jay Williams

I was thoroughly impressed with his display against Stoke City and was even more impressed when he came up against Derby.

Roofe's work rate is second to none and he has now added goals to his game.

He popped up in the right place to thump home a brilliant header for his first and then showed sublime skill to deceive a number of Rams defenders before blasting an unstoppable shot into the net for a superb second goal.

If you told Leeds fans that they'd be going into the new season with Roofe up front, they'd have had their major doubts but these can be put to bed after two stunning displays in the opening two matches.

George Dagless

More than impressed.

I liked him anyway but this season he looks like he's gone to another level.

His quality in front of goal is fantastic and the energy he brings up top will make him a nightmare this year.

Jay Taylor

It was a very impressive performance.

His movement and thinking off the ball was fantastic. He is relishing the role he is in under Marcelo Bielsa.

The two goals were fantastic, the first a deft header and the second unreal feet to get past Richard Keogh to power home.

He could one of the big winners in the new system Leeds are implementing this season.

Sam Rourke

He was top class.

Roofe looks like a refreshed, revitalised player under Marcelo Bielsa, and you get the feeling he's just enjoying his football.

The striker's two goals against Derby demonstrated his superb awareness and ability, and if he can replicate this form week in, week out, Leeds could have a 20+ goal striker on their hands.
