Marcelo Bielsa watched his Leeds United side extend their unbeaten start to the Championship season on Saturday, with the Whites picking up a battling point against Millwall.

Leeds’ unbeaten start looked to be on the line at the New Den, after Jed Wallace put Millwall into a second-half lead.

However, Jack Harrison’s late strike rescued a point for Leeds, who now have 15 points from their opening seven fixtures of the season.

Now, Leeds have a good opportunity to build on Saturday’s draw, with Bielsa’s side returning to Elland Road for back-to-back fixtures this week.

Preston North End visit Elland Road on Tuesday evening, with Alex Neil’s side still the only club to beat Leeds this season – albeit in the League Cup.

Leeds will be confident of getting revenge on Preston at Elland Road, though.

Here at FLW, we take a look at the starting XI we are expecting Bielsa to field…

Peacock-Farrell looks like continuing as Leeds’ first choice despite the presence of Jamal Blackman in the squad.

Ayling continues to impress on the right of Leeds’ defence. At Millwall he had much more of an attacking role, which will be the same at Elland Road against Preston.

Jansson was terrific against Millwall, with the Swede’s defensive contribution helping Leeds to their point.

Cooper has excellent distribution, which complements Jansson well. In the coming weeks, the two need to be striking up a good partnership in the absence of Gaetano Berardi.

Douglas has the same role as Ayling in Bielsa’s system. Expect him to get forward against Preston.

Phillips played at centre-back against Millwall, making a three-man defence alongside Jansson and Cooper.

Depending on Preston’s system, we could see the same again, however, many will expect Phillips to line-up in his defensive midfield role.

Harrison finished Saturday’s game playing as Leeds’ focal point of attack. However, he is likely to start back out on the wing.

Forshaw came on against Millwall, making his comeback from injury.

Mateusz Klich has had a busy period, so could drop out for Forshaw. If Bielsa plays Phillips in his defence again, Forshaw could be better suited to the central midfield role.

Saiz was excellent on Saturday, driving Leeds forward at Millwall. The Spaniard will be looking to have a similar impact against Preston.

Alioski wasn’t at his best at Millwall, but without a number of attacking players, Bielsa should keep him involved.

Roberts was wasteful at Millwall, but it was encouraging to see the striker in the right positions.

A goal could do the 19-year-old the world of good against Preston.
