With the international break behind them, Sheffield Wednesday head into tonight's fixture with Middlesbrough, with manager Jos Luhukay hoping his side can maintain the form that has seen them up to sixth in the Championship.

Luhukay though will have to prepare in the knowledge he will have to do without 28-year-old attacker Fernando Forestieri, who has picked up a hamstring injury in the final match against Bristol City before the break, and looks like being out for a couple of weeks, as confirmed on the club website.

So is the loss of Forestieri bad news for the Owls?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

Forestieri hasn’t had as much of an impact as he would have liked this season but he certainly will be a big miss for the Owls this season.

But they have a considerable amount of depth in striking options this season, and the form shown by Lucas Joao in particular should mean that the Owls are in the hunt for a play-off place.

George Dagless

Not as bad as it would have been in recent years.

Even last season this would have been worse news because this time around we've seen the Owls cope without him.

Of course, you want your best players available but Wednesday have others who look ready to step up.

Gary Hutchinson

On the face of it, a huge blow.

Then you consider he was dropped and banned earlier in the season and they didn’t fold like a freshly washed duvet.

They battled hard and kept the momentum going and I suspect we’ll see the same now

Louie Chandler

Not bad at all.

He is obviously a quality player still but Jos Luhukay has done a brilliant job this season in breaking the reliance on the Italian.
