Hull City face a crucial test against Sheffield United tonight and know three points are vital ahead of winnable weekend games for the sides below them.
The Tigers fell to a 3-1 defeat at Middlesbrough last time out, where they actually did well for large parts.
Nigel Adkins men dominated possession but managed to concede very cheap goals that left the team with too much to do. One positive was the performance from Evandro, who scored a fine goal.
Their form at the KCOM Stadium will be vital if Hull are to stay up and they return to their own patch tonight, where they haven’t lost since late November.
However, there have been far too many draws in that time, which need to be turned into wins if Hull are to have a comfortable end to the season.
There was some good news ahead of the game tonight with Jarrod Bowen and Abel Hernandez both expected to be fit enough for the bench, which would be a huge boost for Adkins.
As well as that, Kamil Grosicki is fit enough for at least 30 minutes according to the manager.
